I just got home from Eastgardens, my Grandma and I saw The Omen. It was a good movie, had a few scary moments but that's about it. To be honest, i expected more, from what i had heard from the original. The movie was good at creating a scary atmosphere, at all the moments you thought something was going to make you jump, nothing happened; and at all the moments you weren't expecting to be startled, you were.
I also bought the Limited Edition 2 CD Remix Set of Here Come the Drums by the Rogue Traders. Yes, i already have the normal edition. Yes, i wasted money; but i really want it signed [on Monday]. It was only $22 at Target anyway.
Yesterday was Champagnat Day (who cares what it is, we get off early). When the rest of the school went home at 1pm, myself, Phillip and Tommy stayed behind to finish writing the script for the music spectacular. Daniel was there, but left before the actual script writing began. We were just talking and mucking around for about an hour and a half before we actually started working on the script - it's Ms. Webster's fault. After we finished the script off, we all went to see Ms. Webster so that she could give us our English marks back. I received 33/45 in the Advanced Paper 1 (and 58/75 altogether {paper 1 + paper 2 combined}). My ranking was quite low for Semester 1, obviously the article and speech we did earlier in the year pulled my rank down. As now i've come to realise that i didn't do that bad in the exam (to my standards anyway). My rank in Extension for the presentation we did was #11 (out of 15 - pfft).
