Well, i've been SO stressed out the past week it's not even funny. I have it in my head that i have to get a 96 UAI or my whole life is just screwed. I don't know how, but somehow, i have to get the idea out of my head. I haven't even got that much work. I seriously don't know what's wrong with me, i use to be carefree about the HSC. I always get through my work, so i don't know what i'm worrying about. I think it's a combination of my dad putting all of these ideas in my head about studying law at uni, convincing me that i'm already in the course, and me looking through the UAC book. Last year, i just took everything as it came, and got through it with relatively good marks - this year, i'm thinking about everything that i have to do during the year and stressing myself out, instead of just focusing on what i have to do now. It's really bad, and is inevitably going to lead to bad marks. Hand me the Blackmores please.

Yesterday i realised that my Extension 1 presentation was due on Thursday, and that i didn't have much time to do it, so i basically did some work on it yesterday, then after hearing how much Phillip did, burnt myself out today by finishing it. I'm not handing a draft to miss though, because, i can't be bothered changing it. I found the assessment extremely hard, and i can only hope for the best. Just read off the palm cards and hope for the best.

I did hit a wall while doing my presentation, when somebody said to me on MSN: 'do you like Britney's new haircut?' I simply thought that she had a nice new haircut - so i was excited to see it. Little did i know, that by new haircut, the person meant that she had shaved her head. I was dumbfounded, i think i went into shock. What's even scarier is that there's a paparazzi video of her after the shaving, saying to the paparazzi: "Who are you?" "I know your face". There's some scary shit right there. Who cares about the new album now, i just hope she makes it through the year.

I saw Epic Movie with Phillip today, i knew it would be bad even before i saw it. But, i thought that i needed some nonsensical, vulgar humour in my day. After an hour i was over it, just wanted to leave.

Not only am i stressing about the study i'm meant to be doing, every time i try to do an assignment on the computer the TV is always on or somebody tries to talk to me. And, say i wanted to do some homework or study in my room at about 9:30pm, my Grandma would already be in bed. It's really starting to annoy me. I just can't wait until Aunty Ngaire goes to New Zealand.

And that's not even the end of it. My Grandma stopped taking her nerve pills, and is consquently very sick. Apparently, she was sick of relying on pills, so stopped taking them - silly lady. But it's okay, my mum gave her a talk, and she's promised to keep taking them. So, she's depressed, and it's making everybody depressed.

And to think, last week i was worrying because i didn't have Windows Vista. And now, i'm worrying that my life is screwed. Oh yeah.

Thanks for reading, this has been very relieving.

Well, i can safely say that i got the most homework i have ever gotten in senior years TODAY. I just finished it, that's how bad it was. Usually each subject has its days where there's a lot of homework, but it seemed to all come from every direction today. I didn't even get a chance to read some of Brave New World, which i planned to.

I did manage to duck out to install some more RAM though. Initially i was going to install an extra 1GB of RAM, but the guy at the shop told me that it gets to a point where adding more RAM is just pointless, and that adding an extra 512MB would be enough. I can definitely tell the difference, it's like i'm using a new computer. The guy also said my computer would take Vista, and that he'd sell it to me for $179. I don't even know if it's real! So many freakin' options, i don't even know which one to take. But i need a new phone too, i have to recharge mine every two days, the battery is definitely giving in. Either i'll save up or my Grandma will get me one for my birthday - which ever one comes first. I know which one i want, it's $199.

Oh my gosh, school is so stressful, there's so much good tv on, and it's so hard to accommodate school work inbetween it. Oh well. I'm going on the internet less and less these days. Alice is barely online, and Josh doesn't even have the internet anymore, so i usually just come on, check Britney news and go and do some study (aka watch TV). I probably won't start studying until a couple of weeks before the exams.

My Extension 2 Proposal is due tomorrow, my whole idea has changed, i'm not even going into why. My new major work is a script, involving two girls who dabble in witchcraft. Better get a move on some research i guess. Most of my proposal is about my previous idea, though; i talked about the new idea briefly at the end of it, and added Buffy to my bibliography list.

I have an Extension 1 presentation due soon, all i basically have left to do is watch The Island, and talk about some techniques and how they relate to Marxism and speculative fiction - FUN!

No other assignments except for those. Retreat is soon, actual fun this time, who wouldn't want a week off of school.

I gave in and bought The OC Season 3 yesterday, i mean come on, how long is something going to be only $30. And tomorrow, i'm taking my computer to the shop to install 1GB more RAM, there goes my whole Youth Allowance. My dad bought me a cracked version of Vista from his boss, hang on, WHAT? I don't know if i'll install it yet or if i'll buy it. I mean, his boss has already tested it and apparently it works. I'll have to wait a while though, apparently a test run through Microsoft informed me that: i need more RAM, my graphics card won't support Aero, Zone Alarms security and Nero won't work, and my modem won't work - with Vista. So after we switch to ADSL+2 with Optus, i'm set to install Vista (i'm not fussed about the other things). But i can see myself waiting until at least Christmas, for them to get rid of all of the bugs. I have to get my DVD burner checked out too, it's not working, i think i know why though, one of the 'pins' at the back of the hardrive is missing, i'll ask the guy at the shop about it tomorrow.

The UAC book has proved helpful, i want to do a law degree combined with Media and Communication. Can i get a UAI over 90? We'll see. Why does TV have to be so good?

I meet my dad every Sunday now, to go swimming at UNSW. I wish he would stop talking about how i need girlfriends. Cock beats pussy anyday.

The swimming carnival yesterday went okay i guess. I didn't swim and i didn't get sunburnt, so i can't complain. Although i did get ditched at the end of the day, but i got my revenge on Danniel today.

I went shopping with my mum at Eastgardens today, i bought a couple of things, and i saw Windows Vista everywhere. I was talking to Raj, and apparently Vista is impossible to crack or something, so i'll have to buy it. I don't mind spending the money, but it'll just take me so long to save up for it, two months at least (after i update to more RAM). I'll have to ask the guy who updates my RAM if he thinks my computer will run Vista smoothly with just the addition of more RAM, beause otherwise, i'm really wasting my money. I could just ask Centrelink for an advance payment of $500, but i really rather save myself, i need to learn that if i want something, i don't automatically get it, and i need to learn to be patient.

After i went shopping at Eastgardens, i was supposed to meet up with Tommy at the UNSW libary, but apparently the books were being moved or something, so we decided to go to Waverley library. We passed CityHunter on the way to the library, and obviously we both hoped that the library would be closed after that. Thankfully, it was, and we went to CityHunter. CityHunter at Bondi Junction is a lot cooler, mostly because it just opened, and most of the stuff is still new.

School is going nicely, i think. I've still got quite a bit of my Extension 1 to do, but hopefully i can do most of that during this week. And Legal presentations start this week, oh yay.

Not only do i have to actually buy Vista, but i can't buy the upgrade, because i don't have a legit. XP, so i have to save $450. Looks like i won't be buying anything for a couple of months - but i'll get there eventually.
