11:56 PM

Finally, it's Friday. The workload for school is getting a lot heavier; and by workload i mean the full-of-shit assessments that we get. I think i have one now for every subject except Studies of Religion. Today, we had the 'plan' for our HUGE Business Research task - i'm hoping to get the actual task done in the holidays; along with the Advanced English assignment and the Extension English assignment. The Legal Studies one i'm hoping to finish next weekend (well i hope so, seeing as it's due next Tuesday). I've written a summary for three of the ten articles, i'm aiming to be up to at least my seventh article this weekend. And who even cares about the Maths assignment, it's the stupidest assignment i've ever seen in my life, what are we going to do next lesson, go out on the road and count the colours of cars again? (All of this means i did it last weekend and it took around an hour). But at least i can say that i get hardly any homework. I always assumed that in senior school that the homework came by the bucketload, but it seems as if the assignments have replaced it. The only thought keeping me going is that Year 12 will be easier, as there is more time to fit the work into.

With all that said and done, i received 28/30 for my Studies of Religion test which was done two weeks ago, and 64/80 in the Music Aural (Half yearly exam). As much as i don't want to mention it, i received 6.5/10 for my Music performance. Although, i am pleased with these (excluding the performance).

As i think i've mentioned before, myself, Daniel [D'Ambrosio], Tommy and Phillip have been working on a script for the Music Spectacular which is to take place in three weeks. We have given up various lunches, lessons and after school times to work on this script. Today, 'we' finally started to shoot the movie [after school] - not that any of us were involved (unless you count the possessiveness of Daniel with the camera). Not only did Mr. Martin keep changing the 'script', which, may i just add, he didn't even have on him while we were shooting, but he kept asking us to carry things and do jobs for him. I found this rude, after we were the ones who wrote the script. It seems that Mr. Martin is more concerned with pleasing the teachers than atually making a good movie (and by good, i mean a movie which actually contains some continuity). Although, Tommy and I did manage to have a good laugh at the situation.

When we (Tommy and I) finally went to leave the 'shoot', Mr. Ferguson had closed the front gates behind us - and Phillip was still inside. We waited for a bit, but there was no sign of Phillip, so we ended up just leaving. So if you were wondering where we were Phillip, that's what happened.

The worst day of the year is yet to come - the Athletics Carnival. I'm hoping it rains, but if it doesn't, there is still hope. Me and a few friends have put our names down to help out on the day, which consequently means we won't actually have to compete in any events on the day (jumps up and down in joy). And after Mr. Forrester (the sports coordinator) was a main star in the movie today, he has now come to know us, which sort of places us a step above: 'those kids who wannt to get out of activities'.

I was planning on buying Madonna's new live DVD tomorrow, but since i wasted all my pocket money on Monday, i'm just going to wait until next week. That way i can watch Just My Luck as well (whether Phillip comes or not; i have to overcome my fear of going to the movies alone at some point, better sooner than later). Looks like i have a free weekend ahead of me, with no aims to work on any school work except the Legal Studies assignment.
