Today was an interesting day, yet boring at times (i.e. the mass). I had my piano performance for music on Monday, it went alright, not my best -- which is expected seeing as its a work in progress. We have to do another performance at the end of the term, i'm thinking of doing Everytime on piano, the sheet music doesn't look that hard. I've never taught myself a piece before, though, and i can't see Chris teaching me it. I would print it out and see if i can play, but i don't want to waste ink lol, i think my cartridge is low.
In legal studies, Ms. Curis told us that there was an essay writing competition run by UNSW. This year is the first one, and the prize is $500. The question is: 'do you think Australia needs a bill of rights?' (or something along those lines). I'm actually thinking of doing it, think of what i could do with that money, replace my ink cartdridge first off lol. I was actually suprised that Danniel's reaction to the whole thing was along the lines of 'meh, it's only $500 - big whoop.' I don't know what he did in his past life but it must've been fucking good, cos God knows he's done nothing in his present life that is deserving of what he has. Remember, modesty is a good thing.
On the way home, some bus inspectors got on the 667 and demanded that we give them our passes. They then checked to see if we had clipped then when we got on, almost nobody did (thankfully i had, i'd learnt my lesson from last time). Sure, check to see if we have our passes, but asking to see photo ID to get back our passes that we had given them, a bit over the top? Not to mention their aggressiveness, it seemed like they were searching for drugs or something.
