Not really done anything today. Trying to cram the rest of The OC episodes i have left to watch before school starts. School ... *shudders*. Only three episodes left now, maybe i can finish it, maybe i can't.

I am completely in love with Holly Valance's album, State of Mind, now. I had heard it before, but now i'm really listening to it, and it's great. Although it didn't chart in one country in the world. I haven't listened to the Jessica Simpson albums because i want them to be in the plastic when i send them to Josh.

Oh, yes, me and Josh started a Jamie (from Big Brother) forum. I'm not telling you to join, but how hot is the banner.

4:11 PM

Today i went to the city, mainly to go to the Apple Store in hopes that they could help me fix my iPod. Turns out that the lady just sent it straight off to Apple to get fixed, and she'll call me when it returns, great; hope it's not gone too long, and most of all, i hope it actually works when i get it back.

Dick Smith said they didn't have the right adaptor that i needed *sigh*. The hunt continues.

All that took about ten minutes, so i decided i didn't want to go home yet. So i walked a bit, and ended up in Pitt Street Mall (by accident, although i was aiming to go there). Had a browse through HMV, saw some things i wanted, but decided not to buy anything. I also looked through Myer and David Jones, mainly looking for some Buffy DVDs, no luck. I was heading to the busstop when i saw Dirt Cheap CDs, i thought to myself: don't go in, you'll waste money; but i couldn't help myself. I ended up wasting $50 by buying State of Mind by Holly Valance, The Immaculate Collection and Erotica by Madonna, and Irrestitable and Sweet Kisses by Jessica Simpson (for Josh). After spending all of that money, i made myself walk to the busstop and go home.

The cases had some ugly stickers on them, but with some switching around, everything's all good now.

Another piece of advice, never ring the Apple 'care' centre. There are a lot of Asians answering the phones, and they haven't got a fucking clue what they're talking about; nor can i understand them. When i rang today, the guy told me he'd email the complete 'solution' to my current iPod problems. Little did i know that he'd be sending me the exact same thing that's on the Apple Support website. Seriously, why would i be calling unless i had already tried everything on that website (not that any of it EVER works). Hopefully somebody at the Apple store tomorrow can clear some things up for me (i rang them today to see if they'll look at my iPod when i bring it in); thankfully, it wasn't someone Asian i was talking to. If not, the guy on the phone said they'd send it off to Apple for service, i actually hope this happens, maybe they'll send me a 'new' iPod back. There's still the thought in the back of my mind that they'll say nothing is wrong with it (although it is clear that there is).

Also want to go into Dick Smith tomorrow to [finally] get a new adaptor for my keyboard, hopefully Dick Smith in the city will have some in stock. I am still dreading going back to school; still have some homework to do actually *sigh*.

Got a haircut today, still looks disgustingly weird, always takes me around a week to get used to me having no hair.

As i said yesterday, i went to Chris's house today to listen to one of his seventh grade students. I had no idea he would give us sheets of paper and tell us to write something. I had no bloody idea what to write, how am i supposed to know if somebody is playing the piece right if i haven't got the sheet music in front of me; it's ridiculous. I was entertained, however, by Chris's cute baby/toddler.

10:47 PM

I think today will be the last time i'll be working for Phillip's dad in a while, simply because most of the filing that is left from when they moved offices is nearly done. Now time to start looking for a real job again *sigh*. I dread going back to school, the horrific thoughts of a huge business assignment, the extension english assignment, and the half yearlies contiune to scare me.

I'm in dire need of a haircut, so i am going to get that done tomorrow, and Chris wants me and Phillip go to hear one of his grade seven students play, so i better go to that as well. On Saturday, i want to take my iPod into the Apple Store (which i found today, but i didn't take my iPod with me, too heavy for my pocket). Hopefully they can help me fix it; if not, off to Apple it goes.

After i received my well-earnt money today, i went into the Virgin Megastore (i love that place), and bought The Chronicles of Narnia special edition DVD and the SOS (Rescue Me) single. After buying Buffy Season 6 (which is now apparently $39, according to the EzyDVD website) next week, i'm just saving the rest.

I must admit, Adro looked pretty stunning after losing the weight (on the Biggest Loser). As did Fiona, but not in the same way, if you know what i mean.

Note to everyone: do NOT under any circumstances buy an iPod. You'd be better buying ANY sort of mp3 player, even if it's a cheapie, i bet you it'll last longer. My computer no longer picks up my iPod, it doesn't show in iTunes or in My Computer. I've done everything that i can find on google, including formatting my iPod (which means deleting my music), and still, nothing. I've even seen some people saying on forums that they've taken their iPod into an Apple store AND sent it in to Apple for repair, and they don't do a thing, even though it's under warranty. It's ridiculous. After spending more than eight hours on this problem, i've been reduced to using my old 256mb mp3 player, until i can get into an Apple Store, or ring the Apple help team. If you send your iPod into Apple for repair and there is nothing wrong with it, they charge you a hundred dollars. Apple needs a reality check, just because we blew over four hundred dollars on an iPod, it does not mean we are rich. It's not even worth the money. I can't even count on two hands how many times my iPod has broken. At first i had an 'un-updateable' iPod, but i could still listen to my music on it. Now that i've formatted, i can't even use it to listen to music. Also, i can't give and receive files off of Phillip, considering my burner decides it doesn't want to burn onto CD-Rs. I'm hoping to get to an Apple Store in my lunch break tomorrow, seeing as i'm working for Phillip's dad again (i did today). If the Apple Store can't do anything, and when i send it into Apple for repair, and they can't do anything. I'm over the piece of shit, and i'm just going to put it in a corner so that it can die. Whoever said Apple was better than Microsoft, get your head checked.

11:02 PM

Today at about three o'clock, me and my grandma left to see Melanie and her husband off at the airport. Her husband is a complete sport fanatic and kept asking me what sport i liked. And he's like, you have to come to New Zealand so i can take you mountain biking; for once i'm thankful i don't have a passport. But, in all honesty, they're nice people lol. No discussion today on what i can and cannot wear, thankfully.

I'm close to finishing Strange Objects and i don't know where it's going. There's no narrative and no real story. And i find it funny that Phillip lists it as one of his favourite books on his Blogger profile, and said that he usually only read the first part and the last part of the diary entries, which make up the bulk of the 'story'. I've spotted three typos so far.

I bought a new folder today, finally. The one i was using last term was completely ruined. This time i've decided to be more organised, and copied Phillip's idea of separating the Extension work and the Advanced work. I also got bored and decided to make a Britney-magazine-clipping collage on the front of the folder. I'll probably get made fun of, but when has that ever bothered me. Looking at Britney makes me feel happy, so why not? No different from Tommy having his Final Fantasy blend thingy. Ok i feel like i'm proving why it's okay for me to have it lol.

My grandma told my mum on the phone tonight that she's going to New Zealand in June for the birth of Melanie's baby (her first great grandchild); and that my mum had to be home. My mum said she'd analyse the situation, my grandma quickly snapped: 'there is no situation, it's a fact, you'll be home in June.' Aunty Ngaire is going to New Zealand as well, so it'll just be me and my mum (if she does in fact come home). It all feels like my mum has to be trapped in order to see me; because i think Aunty Ngaire is going to New Zealand so that my mum doesn't ask her to look after me, which she should.

10:00 PM

It turns out that Melanie (my cousin) called us back this morning instead of last night. But it's alright, considering she didn't wake me up. We ended up going to the aquarium. In the morning when i got dressed, i put my favourite shirt on and my grandma says to me 'you can't put that on, we're going to see Melanie'. What the fucking hell? Aren't i allowed to wear what i want now? I was actually going to put a different shirt on, but after my grandma told me she wanted me to wear something 'nice', i though, fuck her, i'll wear what i want. She actually had clothes that she wanted me to wear ready. Pfft.

The aquarium is kind of boring after all of the times that i've been. The sharks and stingrays still scare me though. Who would want sharks swimming on top of them, it's freaky. And what do you know, Melanie isn't really that snobbish, she said she liked plain bread.

10:13 PM

I finally left the house today to see V For Vendetta. It was a great movie, i just wish i got the ending; or that Phillip would be able to explain it to me.

I went back to Phillip's house after the movie so he could put the two new episodes of Alias onto my iPod. What do you know, there was a 'software malfunction'. So he burnt the two episodes onto a CD-RW. It burnt, but my computer won't play the episodes. How great I didn't get to read any of Strange Objects today seeing as how i went to the movies, Phillip told me the 'ending' anyway. Not that he understands it or knows what it's about.

My grandma rang my cousin today to see if she wanted to go out tomorrow, and she said she'd call us back. She hasn't called? *shock* Didn't see that coming.

I'm halfway through Strange Objects, and at the turn of every page it just gets more boring. Hopefully i'll finish it in another two days though, and start on The Turn of the Screw. And yes, it delights me to say i am leaving the house tomorrow to see V For Vendetta.

Rihanna's new album is good, and so is Pussycat Dolls' new video for Buttons. Reminds me a lot of a few Britney videos. Snoop Dogg's rap is crap though. I can't stand it.

Three episodes away from finally finishing Buffy Season 2. I still don't understand why Angel got his own show. He is the most unlikeable character in television history.

Fiona better win Biggest Loser (i know she won't).

5:14 PM

Today wasn't boring. Contrary to the opening lines of my last three posts. Danniel came over and we played board games, this amused me for most of the day. Who ever said losing wasn't fun? Seeing Danniel's smug face was amusement in itself, i wish i had a camera.

I figured that i'd have to watch two episodes of The OC a day in time for me to finish them before school starts, starting from yesterday. And there can be three days when i only watch one, if i can't be bothered. Hopefully it all works out, i'm still watching Buffy Season two, and look how long ago i got that, shows how much time i don't have when school is on.

Looks like i'm not going to the movies tomorrow, Phillip hasn't called. But at least i know i left the house today to grab some lunch. And at least i got out of going to St. Vincent De Paul today.

And is it just me, or do you hate those 'recap' episodes they have on reality shows. We're only like four episodes into Survivor, and they're already playing a recap episode, geez. And if they're not showing recap episodes, they're taking up half of the current show telling you what happend in the last episode (eg. The Biggest Loser).

http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/9836/7853020iv.jpg

What i once thought was amaray is now lost. Oh, and what do you know, it has an ugly fucking blue sticker. My only Buffy DVDs with that stupid sticker >.<

Strange Objects is all over the fucking place, someone slap Gary Crew, and let him talk to Mary Shelley. Not to mention the typos.

8:51 PM

Boring. But at least i manged to finish Frankenstein. And now to start on one of the most boring books in history: Strange Objects. Hopefully i'll have time to read Turn of the Screw before school starts. I also managed to make the worst soup in the history of the world today.

I was planning on going to St Vincent De Paul tomorrrow and helping, but then i realised, i don't want to. So i asked Danniel to come over, and thankfully he is. My cousin Melanie is also coming from New Zealand, but she's only here for one day: tomorrow. I thought of going, and telling Danniel not to come, but then i remembered a couple of years ago when she came over, and we were supposed to meet at a restaurant and she never came. And then again, we were supposed to meet at Darling Harbour and she never came (although she said she was there). After remembering this, i thought, fuck her, i'm not going. She is a barrister after all, meaning she's a rich[-ish] snob.

Still haven't left the house since Sunday. Well, at least tomorrow i won't be bored, that's gotta be something. Hopefully going to see V For Vendetta soon, though.

5:52 PM

Another long, boring day? What a surprise. At least i've nearly finished Frankenstein now. The more i read it, the more it reminds me of the Buffy episode i mentioned yesterday.

"Someone is digging up corpses in Sunnydale, while Giles is fumbling about trying to start a romance with Jenny. Eric and Chris, two science club geeks, seem very keen on Cordelia. Chris and Eric have been making a Frankenstein's Bride for Chris' older brother, who died and was brought back to life by Chris. They kidnap Cordelia to use her head to finish the job, but Buffy and Co. find her in time, Daryl and Buffy fight, and the place is set on fire. Xander rescues Cordy from a horrible flamey death, while Buffy fights an enraged Daryl. The body that was to take Cordy's head is set on fire, and Daryl chooses to die with it rather than "live" alone."

Sound familiar to those have read Frankenstein? Guess i'll know what to use if i ever need an appropriation/representation of it. Speaking of representations, i found a great webcomic that is an appropriation of King Arthur, so now i have all related texts needed for the assignment, and none of them are the same text type.

I'm sitting here wondering when i am going to leave the house next, great.

6:22 PM

It's been another long, boring day. I managed to read more of Frankenstein. It reminds me very much of an episode of Buffy, i think that episode is an homage to Frankenstein anyway. Currently trying to make an audio DVD, hope it works. Not only does it fit a lot more songs, i haven't got any CD-Rs (that work) at the moment. It'll only work on the dvd player, but that's alright, with the surround sound and all. I was using the DVD player to play CDs until today anyway. Today i managed to get, the Rod Stewart CD that my grandma had gotten stuck in the stereo ages ago, out. All this time i thought my stereo was broken, and all i to do was open it up and slide the CD out.

I'm addicted to The OC already, and i'm only three episodes in. I saw the episodes over a year ago and wasn't really paying attention, they're so much better on DVD anyway. No ads, and no having to wait a week in between episodes (i tend to forget what's happened, considering how many 'continuing storyline' TV shows i watch).

6:06 PM

After meeting and talking to Kristen Bell (aka Veronica Mars) in my dream, i was pretty pissed of when i woke up this morning. I had a sore throat and felt like shit [again]. I still went to see Ice Age 2 with my grandma though, it's such a cute movie. You'd never get sick of seeing Scrat looking for his nut thing. Despite some Asian girl sticking her head up and blocking my view, it was a good movie. 8/10.

I got a block of dark chocolate from my grandma, and a small box of 'Favourites' from Aunty Ngaire. So no eggs for me this year lol. They were the ones that actually got eggs from me, maybe it should've been the other way around. Think i'm going to have a boring/early night tonight, Josh is at some shit movie marathon so i have nobody to talk to, and my cold is back (oh, joy).

11:35 PM

Last night i watched Aeon Flux, i would give you a plot outline, but it's virtually impossible. In order to understand the complex storyline, it seems you would've had to of read the comics, which seems stupid to me. The comic can't be that popular to be a huge box office hit; like Spider-Man. But, with Spider-Man, most people are familiar with the story. Some things (non-plot related) were good though, the CGI and fight scenes were. But, we all know they alone are not enough to hold a movie together. Overall i'd give it 4/10.

Scary Movie 4 is a different story, it was insanely hilarious without even having a plot holding it together. The CGI was good, and the 'aliens' looked the same as they did in War of the Worlds, which is saying something, as that movie's budget was huge. I guess unless you've seen the movies they're spoofing it wouldn't be that funny, to enjoy it, the bare minimum you'd have to see would be: War of the Worlds, Saw, The Grudge, and The Village. I think it's good that it spoofs successful movies so that most people have seen them. Definitely better than the third, 9/10.

Also managed to get The OC Season 2 from K-Mart for $63. It was originally $75, but there was a '15% off storewide' sale.

6:15 PM

Today has been one of the most boring days ever. The Australia's Next Top Model marathon turned out to be boring, so i turned that off. And i couldn't freely surf the net without lagging my 700mb download. Not to mention that the America's Next Top Model i taped in the morning came out with no sound, since i left Foxtel on mute -_- I ended up just reading some of Frankenstein for Extension English (which has proved to be more interesting than i thought, i'll finish it in no time, already more than a third way through it), and playing Scrabble and Monopoly with Phillip/Tommy.

Looking forward to seeing Scary Movie 4 tomorrow, and Aeon Flux whenever i get around to seeing it, as it's on my computer now. There isn't really anything on TV tonight so i might watch it tonight. Hoping to buy The OC Season 2 DVD Boxset tomorrow, depends how much it costs in Big W (hope it's less than $75).

The AVMAs that were on on Wednesday night were quite entertaining. Although, Madonna didn't win any awards. Memorable performances would have to be: Ashlee Simpson, The Darkness and the Rogue Traders. Ashlee wasn't the best host though, not to mention she dropped the 'F-Bomb'.

Yesterday, my iPod had that sad face thing it had last time, but thankfully (after hours of banging it) it came around. I was worried there for a second.

9:07 PM

Thank God there is only two days of school left. Tomorrow is a drug seminar so it's all good. It doesn't start until 11:45am, so we have to chance to sleep in, but there's no point. Wouldn't wanna get out of the routine in the middle of the week; plus, America's Next Top Model is on at 6:45am. I don't know whether to get the 11am bus or the 10:30am bus. I would rather get the 10:30 one, so i can have a look around Easties and take my iPod, without Danniel and Phillip talking at me the whole way there.

I was actually offended in Legal Studies today when we were talking about concerts, and i was about to tell Miss Curis something funny that happened to me at the Hilary Duff concert. As soon as i opened my mouth to say 'when i was at Hilary Duff', i didn't even expect her to react. She laughed at me. It seems to me that she is one of the bitchiest teachers at school; seeing as i know she's laughed at Tommy before. And she's far from mature, if anything, she's immature. This is the second time Ms. Curis has offended me. Sure, if i would of said it to Ms. Webster she would've laughed, but in a friendly way, Ms. Curis was clearly laughing with Tommy and Danniel in a cruel way. You would think that i would be embarrased, but i was more infuriated than anything. I mean sure, Ms. Marsden was a fat bitch, but she never laughed at anyone, it's called being professional, something that, clearly, Ms. Curis is not.

And don't even get me started on the celebrity bashing. It's alright in extension, it's all fun. But in legal, it's just uncalled for. Mostly because of some individuals. Not to mention any names *cough*people on the right and the teacher*cough*.

5:46 PM

I saw She's The Man today with Phillip, his sister and her friend. It was a good movie, although it followed the typical hollywood storyline. Happy ending blah blah blah. The ending was a bit boring though. Overall i'd give it a 7/10. Now i just want to see Scary Movie 4, Aeon Flux and Ice Age 2. The money shouldn't be an issue, seeing as how i think i'm going to work for Phillip's dad again for two days in the holidays.

I'm about to make a start on my music assignment, i'd like to get it done this weekend so that Mr. Martin can check it on Monday, and i can do it on Thursday. I'm finding it hard, i wish i was better at aural and theory. At least we're not getting marked on the presentation, and merely the content. No problems reading off of the sheet of paper. I've still got to do the HSC music exam Mr. Martin asked us to do. Only one [extended response] question left. Also finding that challenging, i hope i can improve though, i mean, it is still the first term of the course and all.

Currently burning Harry Potter 4 DVD, computer currently lagging to the max -_-

8:47 PM

As i stated in my last post, it had gone from 28 degrees to -28 degrees last weekend. This has had serious repercussions. My nose is now sore from rubbing it so many times with a tissue; and my throat is sore. I have a slight stomach ache, and frankly i feel like shit. I didn't even go to school today. I'm hoping to be better tomorrow, but i'm going to school regardless. Can't handle missing too many lessons.

I've finally decided on a song to do for my Music assignment. The Sound of White by Missy Higgins. Now just got to ask Phil to burn the song onto a CD for me so i can play an excerpt of it in class when i do the assignment. I have the choice of doing it next term or next week. I'm hoping to do it next week, if i manage to get it done this weekend. It won't take long, about an hour. But i'm just confused as to whether we have palm cards, or just read off a sheet of paper, or if we're expected to memorise what we're going to say. I'll just see what everybody else does.

I've also managed to find the sheet music to My Immortal by Evanescence. Everything is played by piano, and there's no bloody melody sang by the voice. I hope Chris will teach me it, i've even asked Alex to burn the song onto a CD for me, as i sold him the album a couple of weeks ago.

Thankfully i didn't miss out on much today, workwise. Although, i've heard that a lot happened.

Is it just me, or has it gone from being around 28 degrees to -28 degrees. I'm freezing my ass of right now with track pants and a jumper. It was like this yesterday as well. Instead of watching Ice Age last night, i decided to watch Star Wars: Episode III (writing the speech actually put me in the mood). I made the startling discovery that the Millenium Falcon is in fact in the movie. Look here. And close up here. And that's what you get for being addicted to Wikipedia.

I watched Ice Age today, it was pretty good, the gay rhinoceroses cracked me up. I haven't even read over my speech once (as planned) but i hope to reading mine in class tomorrow so i can get it out the way.

Something else is also bothering me. This. For fuck's sake, please don't be pregnant. I am hoping for new album this year. Be fat; be 1000kg, i don't care, just don't be pregnant. It'll ruin everything.

Looks like Phil and I didn't win tickets to the AVMAs =[

6:48 PM

This morning while i was downloading Britney's Episode on Will and Grace, i decided to watch How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days. The story was good and Kate Hudson was as gorgeous as ever. But for fuck's sake, get the ugly bitch Matthew McConaughey off of my screen. His screen presence alone just shits me. His acting is horrible; and he needs a haircut.

I then watched Britney's episode on Will and Grace, it was good, but it wasn't funny (what else can you expect from Will and Grace these days). But the important thing is, Britney must've been sucking in her stomach or something, because she looked fabulous in her tight red dress. Hoping to watch Ice Age tonight, that i taped last week. I saw it when it first came out lol but i can't remember it. I'm hoping to see the sequel, if someone would fucking come to the cinema with me to see it.

I had to do my English speech today, i don't even know what it's about, i read over it once, it's just babble. Hoping to just look down and read off palm cards on Monday. Hopefully i get good marks for the visual rep. and feature article though, seeing as i actually put time into doing them.
